India is the second largest
populated country in the world besides the rate of development is very fast but
somehow the economic growth is not high. The gap between rich and poor is very
wide, which means that the underprivileged population of India is very much in
need. There are lots of problems pertaining to education, health, social and
family welfare, because of poverty and lack of awareness. The need is to give
special attention to wipe it off by putting all possible efforts against this
dark side of life. Sankalp welcome volunteers throughout the globe to unite on a
common platform to share their experiences and skills. Volunteers will share
their skills to develop sustainable means for the communities while staying and
working with them
Volunteer Work Opportunities
You can choose volunteer work in
one of the following areas:
Teaching India volunteer program
Teach English to children in Government Primary Schools of Himalayan &
Desert region. The volunteers will assist in a wide variety of chosen subjects
and activities.
Street Children India volunteer program
Teach and Educate to Street children and aware of health, hygiene and
nutrition to the children as well as their families. They use to live in very
dirty and stinking atmosphere.
Orphanage India volunteer program
In the cities, with Orphan child care program we seek to assist the
orphanage in helping the children just by being caring and affectionate with
orphans.
Pre-Schooling India volunteer program
In the village of the Rajasthan and Himachal region volunteer are involving
with the children in healthy learning environment by interactive games and
pictorial stories.
Women Empowerment program
As a volunteer you will encourage the women to get educated up to extent and
to get them aware general health, hygiene and nutrition through Women
Empowerment Program.
Sports India volunteer program
Join our Sports and Community Project in beautiful and unique regions of
Rajasthan & Himachal to help develop the physical wellbeing of underprivileged
children.
Gap year India volunteer program

Summer volunteer program 2008
